A school is more than a building. It is a place where knowledge, character, confidence and community can grow together. HANDS Canada supports both classroom learning and the essential conditions that make learning possible.
Education and Grade Expansion
The school began in 2016 with Grades 1 through 5 and expanded to Grades 1 through 10 by September 2024. HANDS Canada has supported the addition of classrooms and the continuing effort to extend education into the senior secondary grades. This growth gives students the opportunity to continue learning within their community for more years.
Christian and Spiritual Development
Students receive religious instruction as part of a learning environment grounded in Christian values. The purpose is to encourage faith, character, responsibility, mutual respect and care for others alongside academic development.
Breakfast Porridge
According to the brochure, students receive breakfast porridge three days each week before class. This simple act of care helps children begin the school day with nourishment and demonstrates that student well-being is an important part of the educational mission.
Water, Electricity and Restroom Facilities
HANDS Canada has helped provide water and electrical power at the school and has supported the development of restroom facilities. These practical systems are essential to a safer, more functional and more dignified school environment.
Technology and Learning Resources
Laptop computers have been provided to support learning and introduce students to digital tools. Continued investment in equipment and educational resources can help teachers and students access a broader range of learning opportunities.
School Events and Student Life
HANDS Canada has also helped fund school events. Ceremonies, assemblies and celebrations give students opportunities to be recognized, strengthen belonging and bring families and the school community together.

Community Development
